At the same time, getting those consumables purchased properly and delivered to the correct job site is a logistical headache for their procurement teams, finance Mitti Marketplace solves that problem. We provide both "zero-click" automated eCommerce ordering driven by our customers' usage data in the Mitti Platform, and access to our marketplace of goods. Both provide customers with a purchasing process that is procurement compliant and logistically seamless.As the founding US Marketplace Lead, this will be a hands-on, builder role. You won't be running a team from day one -you'll be on the ground, closing deals, solving problems as they land, and turning a brand new offering into something with real scale. You'll do your best work here if you like building without a fixed playbook, making the call yourself and shaping the process as you go.What you'll doDrive commercial results for the US Marketplace across both revenue channels: direct fulfillment and third-party supplier and logistics deals.Help land and run a major national distribution partnership through its three phases — from using the partner's warehouses for zero-click orders, to building out our curated marketplace, to rolling it out to customers across the US.Manage the migration of customers off the legacy tech stack. Work with the platform team to retire old integrations, move active US customers over safely and keep service running for every live account.Build the US supplier base. Negotiate and close deals across safety, personal protective equipment (PPE) and consumable categories, close product gaps the distribution partnership needs, and keep supplier relationships healthy.Keep Mitti's leadership in the loop on what's working, what's not and what needs to change.About youThere's more than one path into this role. You might have:A partnerships background with a focus on eCommerce, where you've structured and delivered deals that work for everyone at the table.A sales background in marketplace or eCommerce products, where you've sold to procurement, distribution or supply chain buyers and closed the deal yourselfA commercial or entrepreneurial track record of building and scaling a marketplace, wherever that experience came from.Whatever got you here, you'll also need to:Negotiate and close supplier and distribution agreements at pace, working with legal and other teams without slowing things down.Translate platform capability, like zero-click procurement and inspection-triggered replenishment, into a pitch that lands with enterprise customers and partners.Operate in a lean or early-stage environment, prioritizing ruthlessly and building things that'll hold as the business scales.Jump in and help GTM teams close new Marketplace customers when it counts.What this role isn'tThis isn't a people-leadership role.
