Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct in-depth mental health assessments that evaluate patients' psychological well-being, using structured interviews and psychometric tools to inform treatment decisions. \n

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, adapting your methods to suit the unique preferences of each patient. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional expression, coping strategies, and personal development, while fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies for patients, thereby ensuring holistic care delivery. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support when required, guiding patients through mental health emergencies with empathy and professionalism. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources that may aid their recovery. \n
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards through meticulous documentation and record-keeping, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. \n
- Participate actively in continuing education, keeping abreast of the latest research and developments within the mental health field. \n
The primary focus of your role will be on adults and adolescents dealing with varying degrees of mental health challenges, typically within an outpatient setting. You will work with a diverse client population, including those suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Each patient's journey is unique, and your role will be instrumental in empowering them towards recovery and improved mental well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia. \n
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and an evolving knowledge of best practices in trauma-informed care. \n
- Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments and developing targeted treatment plans. \n
