Childcare Music Instructor

Benefits: Employee discounts Paid time off Training & development School of Rock Arlington Heights is seeking a high‑energy early childhood educator to lead our Little Wing (ages 4–5) and Rookies (ages 6–7) programs. This role is ideal for someone who specializes in working with young children and can create a fun, structured, and engaging classroom environment. A strong musical background is not required. Responsibilities Lead Little Wing & Rookies classes using our structured curriculum (training provided) Create a positive, engaging, and well‑managed classroom for young learners Use movement, games, and hands‑on activities to teach foundational music concepts Manage classroom behavior and maintain clear structure and routines Communicate regularly with parents about student experience and progress Help prepare students for in‑school showcases and events Qualifications Experience in early childhood education (teaching, daycare, preschool, camps, etc.) Strong classroom management and group leadership skills High energy, patience, and ability to engage young children Organized, reliable, and professional with parents and staff Interest in music or performing arts is a plus (but not required) Schedule Saturdays required (morning–early afternoon) Additional weekday availability is a plus Pay Hourly, based on experience Opportunities for additional hours and growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
