Digital Marketing Intern

Our client, a marketing and advertising company based in Manhattan, is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support its content and campaign teams. This role offers exposure to social media strategy, email marketing, and digital advertising for a range of client accounts.
The intern will work closely with marketing coordinators and account managers to assist in planning, executing, and tracking campaigns across multiple digital channels. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a marketing agency operates day to day.
This internship is well suited for a student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, or a related field who wants practical experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and scheduling social media posts across client accounts
- Support the creation of email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Help track and report on campaign performance metrics
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity
- Assist with organizing digital assets and content calendars
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed
- Help proofread and edit marketing copy before publication
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Interest in pursuing a career in marketing or advertising
