There are two immediate openings—one supporting a middle school (self-contained) classroom and the other at the elementary level. Both positions are on-site, offering you the ability to make a meaningful impact each day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Adapted Curriculum certification is required
• Previous experience teaching special education students, with a passion for creating accessible, inclusive learning
• Ability to develop individualized lesson plans, differentiate instruction, and implement IEPs
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver adapted instruction tailored to diverse student needs
• Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues to align educational strategies and support
• Communicate regularly with families, providing updates on student growth and fostering family engagement
• Implement behavioral management systems that encourage positive student interactions and participation
