Our non-profit corporation is wholly committed to being an integral part of the communities we serve, and we are dedicated to improving the health of our neighbors and friends.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological careConduct office consultations and wellness examsSupport labor and delivery at Memorial Hospital of CarbondaleCollaborate with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and support staffEducate and counsel patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum careUtilize integrated behavioral health services, care coordination, and case managementPosition OverviewJoin a close-knit group of 5 Certified Nurse Midwives and 1 OB/GYN Physician. Call schedule of 1 night per week and 1/5 weekends. Call-sharing with a group of 5 physicians. Work in a supportive, patient-centered environment with a strong focus on holistic care.RequirementsPassionate about providing exceptional care to women at all stages of lifeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health recordsCommitment to Shawnee Health's mission and valuesEducation & TrainingMaster's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Midwifery. Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Illinois. At the end of any employment year, a portion of unused Leave days may be carried forward to the next year or you may opt to take the cash value of the unused Leave days.Productivity Incentives: Shawnee offers select physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners' merit and productivity incentives based negotiated contractual terms related to net collections and/or total encounters.Merit Bonus: Shawnee offers select physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners' productivity incentives based on negotiated criteria.Continuing Education (CE) Allocation: physicians, dentists, and midlevel practitioners receive an annual CE allocation.Base Compensation: Pay Range: $110,000-135,000. The listed salary range reflects average compensation based on experience.
