Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of successful and safe experience in the operation of a motor vehicle; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Possession of a California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Driver's License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DL51A) Ability to qualify and maintain qualification for District vehicle insurance coverage. Pass all the written and behind the wheel bus driver evaluation that is required by the District.

Copy of California Department of Motor Vehicle's - Driver License Driver's Record Request Copy of California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Driver's License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements. NOTE: Application packet must be complete at time of submission.

• DMV Printout (Copy of California Department of Motor Vehicle's - Driver Licenses/Identification Card Information Request print out must accompany application)
• Driver's License Copy (Copy of a California Commercial Driver's License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements.)
