Job Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including thorough physical examinations and extensive history reviews. Contribute to the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical issues through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory reports. Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans. Provide integral intraoperative assistance, ranging from preparing operating rooms to ensuring proper patient positioning and instrument handoffs. Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative support, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus. Certifications Current and unrestricted PA-C certification. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Eligible for state licensure as a Physician Assistant. Skills In-depth understanding of surgical fundamentals and sterilization protocols. Track record of interpreting diagnostic results and joining complex clinical decision-making. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform calmly and effectively in high-stress surgical circumstances.
