Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift NICU position requiring at least 2 years of NICU RT experience.

Job Details

• Respiratory Therapy department within a NICU setting,
• NICU patient population only, no adult patients,
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM,
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend,
• No on-call requirements,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous NICU Respiratory Therapy experience required,
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract required,
• Active Wisconsin state license required, license required if applicable,
• Compact license accepted,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,
• Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration,
• Work history/resume required for consideration,
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required for consideration,
• License verification required for consideration,
• Copies of active certifications required for consideration,
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team,
• Provides and manages respiratory therapy care for NICU patients,
• Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles of the facility to qualify for travel rate,
• Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be ineligible for consideration,
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving),
• Limited time-off requests during peak holiday periods in late November and late December
