Truck Technician - 2nd Shift

What you’ll be doing:

• • Repair trucks, cars, and other company machinery as required
  • Provide for the general maintenance requirements of the plant as necessary
  • Inspect all vehicles to ensure that the vehicles meet state safety requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to minimize vehicle down time
  • Maintain mechanical certifications as required

EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• • Electric and hydraulic tools
  • Forklift
  • Truck and/or automobile

What you will need to succeed:

• High School diploma or GED
• Class A License or willing to obtain
• Prepare written repair orders daily
• Some computer skills

CRITICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• • Two handed lifting, handling, carrying 40 lbs. from floor to overhead on a frequent basis
  • Two handed lifting, handling, carrying 100 lbs. from floor to 48" on an occasional basis
  • Sustained squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending
