About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location: Pennsylvania

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care and acute care in a corporate health center setting.
• Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic visits, and chronic condition management.
• Workers' compensation and occupational health services may include work related injury evaluation and treatment, return to work determinations, pre employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, suturing, splinting, and occupational testing (audiometry, spirometry, respirator clearance).
• Patients ages 2 and older.

Schedule

• Part time shifts; see shift schedule.
• Paid shadow or training day may be required prior to first shift.

Clinical Scope

• Patient volume: up to approximately 3 patients per hour.
• EMR: Athena experience preferred but not required.
• No pain management.

Required Qualifications

• National certification required (FNP preferred).
• DEA required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Travel and Lodging

• Travel support may be available.
• Mileage is approved to be paid for trips 31 miles or more round trip.
