Attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision - available day one!Schedules Available:Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM rotating days** Shift Differential applies.Day Shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM rotating days**SUMMARYThe Packer is primarily responsible for observing continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Inspect product while following all written quality, stacking, and safety proceduresWork with production groups to meet production demandsVisually inspect products for defects in order to ensure conformance to specificationsTrim excess material from parts, using knives, and grinds scrap plastic for reuseEnsure quality parts are produced and delivered on time that meet customer specificationsOther items assigned by ManagerKNOWLADGE, SKILLS AND PROEFICIENCYConduct tests and inspections of products, or processes to evaluate quality or performanceAbility to control operations of equipment or systemsGive full attention to what other people are saying, ability to take time to understand the points being madeDetermine causes of operating errors and resolutionAbility to time movement or the movements of a piece of equipment in anticipation of changes in the speed and/or direction of a moving object or sceneAbility to focus on a single source of sound in the presence of other distracting soundsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSThe minimum requirements for education and experience are listed below. Consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experienceNo minimum education requirementNo prior experience or training requiredAble to read and write in EnglishAble to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.Working knowledge of measurement equipment.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
