Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pump Mechanic to join our team at TPE . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pump maintenance and repair, focusing on efficiency and precision. As a Pump Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our pumping systems, ensuring they are operating at peak performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various pumps and related systems. Inspect pumps and components to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble pumps and related equipment. Install and commission new pumps and systems, ensuring they meet operational standards. Conduct performance tests and adjust systems to ensure they function optimally. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and other departments to address and resolve issues in a timely manner. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or technical training preferred). Proven experience as a pump mechanic or in a related field (minimum of 2 years). Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of various types of pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Ability to kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods. Comfortable working in challenging environments (dust, heat, cold, etc.).
