Permanent: Division Director of Nuclear Medicine Position in Miami, FL

An academic hospital in Miami, Florida, with an open Division Director of Nuclear Medicine position. The ideal candidate will provide clinical oversight and leadership to help grow and expand the Nuclear Medicine Division.


About the location: Reside in a vibrant community with a variety of local restaurants, boutique shops, and multiple outdoor activities.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 4 clinical days and 1 admin day
• Offsite call, 1:5
• 100% nuclear medicine
• Lower volumes, focus on quality
• Overseeing up to 9 MDs
• State-of-the-art equipment
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• $400+ base salary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Florida Radiology state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Radiologist in Nuclear Medicine
• Two years as a Director of Nuclear Medicine/Radiology
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
