We are recruiting for the following position:Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organizationMedical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.Key Duties:Room patients, obtain histories and vital signsTrack and document clinical quality measures in the EHRAssist providers with exams, procedures, and chartingAdminister medications and immunizations per protocolCoordinate labs, referrals, and specialty careProvide excellent customer service using the AIDET modelQualifications:Graduate of an approved MA programCurrent MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)Ambulatory care experience preferredBilingual English/Spanish strongly preferredFast-paced outpatient setting.
