Role Overview

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess the unique needs of patients and establish individualized treatment strategies to support their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in synergy with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to ensure complete and holistic patient care
• Empower Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers effective therapy techniques to encourage ongoing development at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to therapy to keep individuals focused on their recovery pathways

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications available

Licensing & Certification

• Valid OTR/L license required
• NBCOT certification is necessary
