Position Overview Medcor is hiring a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Stuarts Draft, VA. Hours are full‑time. The compensation range is $29.00–$31.00 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $29.00–$31.00. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000. Responsibilities The Onsite Health Technician collaborates with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day tasks include: Personnel and patient care at the on‑site clinic Ongoing workers’ compensation case management Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring Coordination with outside medical providers Typical Day Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols Build and maintain internal team relationships Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools Case management and medical charting Requirements Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure Current CPR/BLS certification Strong computer and technology skills (cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software) Physical ability to lift a 50 lb bag Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond Passion for people and quality care Preferred Qualifications Experience in a worksite clinic environment Relevant occupational health experience Background in emergency medicine or critical care Benefits Our benefits include paid time off, health and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, education reimbursement, and more.
