Traveling Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Traveling Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed for a 13-week contract near Cathedral City, CA. The role involves performing imaging procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and operating advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and compliance. The assignment offers competitive pay up to $3,600 per week and travel stipends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic scans
- Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) certification
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
