Acloché is looking for great candidates for an equipment operator role in Grove City
JOB SUMMARYThis position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of product and loading products onto trailers according to established company and customer standards
• Use Vocollect Voice Equipment and travel to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products and places on a pallet and loads the pallet on trucks according to proper zone, location, and established standards.
• Handles products and builds pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g. visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimize cross-contamination and damage)
• Communicates with the management team regarding any issues (e.g. products, out of stock, safety issues,)
• Operates all company warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely, according to company standards
• Reports all equipment issues to a member of the management team ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safely operate powered equipment as needed
• Lift up to 0 - 50 lbs
• Pick items using a scanner and reach truck
• Wrap completed skids- Prepare pallets for shipping Skill Requirements
• Candidates Must have 3 years order picking experience
• Candidates must have Double Blade Ride on electric pallet jack experience
• Candidates must have loading experience
• Candidates must have scanner experience
• Candidates must have steel toed boots
• Candidates must have a strong work history - assignment/positions must be 9 months or longer
• Candidates must be able to speak/write and understand English – all voice equipment is in English Why choose Acloché?
