Job Description
  • Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Leverage evidence-based practices to enhance patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and routine activities
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instruction to patients and families on therapy techniques that facilitate continued progress outside of clinical settings
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment as necessary, ensuring patients are on the right path
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
