Webber - Field Engineer Intern I - Infrastructure

Internship: Webber We are looking for a dynamic intern to join our team and support various roles within Webber. This 12-week program focuses on Safety, Survey/Estimating, Project Supervision, and Field Engineering across several locations. What You Will Do: Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO) Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities Observe and prevent safety incidents Conduct jobsite audits Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts Understand how to survey for quantities Gain knowledge in conversions and accurate surveying practice Assess man-hour estimates and materials needed for production Communicate and delegate work plans to field crews Who You Are: Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or related 4‑year degree program Can communicate in English, both verbal and written Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items and work with the fingers Full understanding of Construction Math concepts Able to perform moderate to high level of physical activity in a field‑based construction environment Benefits: Competitive compensation Learning and development programs Opportunities for professional growth in a company that values innovation and sustainability A collaborative culture that values each member of our team Webber is an equal opportunity employer.
