This full-time role focuses on providing academic instruction and fostering growth in students requiring cross-categorical support. Serving a caseload of approximately 7 students, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact by developing individualized strategies that encourage both academic achievement and self-regulation in a collaborative setting.

What You'll Need:

• Appropriate certification and credentials to teach Special Education at the high school level
• Experience or strong interest in cross-categorical classrooms
• Knowledge of instructional methodologies for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Ability to develop and adapt IEPs to address individual student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capacity for collaboration with general education staff, related service providers, and families

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging academic instruction tailored to the skills and needs of each student
• Create and implement effective classroom management and self-regulation strategies
• Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with legal requirements
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues
• Support students in building independence and confidence within the school setting
• Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
