Required Skills:

• Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years recent PICU experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Current BLS certification, with ability to recertify
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to patient care excellence

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with pediatric trauma or complex critical care cases
• Prior experience working in hospitals of similar or larger size or trauma centers
• Experience working with EPIC EMR systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• RN license valid for practice in New York State
• At least 3 years recent experience in a pediatric ICU or equivalent high-acuity setting
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays
• Must pass pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background check
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
• No history of professional license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
