We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Support Staff Professional (SSP) to join a wonderful team supporting an incredible 21-year-old young man in his home and community.

You’ll work alongside a caring, appreciative family and an experienced team of behavioral professionals who provide training, guidance, and ongoing support . We believe great staff should feel respected, supported, and valued—and that teamwork makes all the difference.

What You’ll Do

• Provide active, hands-on support throughout the day
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Support communication using an iPad and basic sign language
• Participate in community outings, recreation, and daily activities
• Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment
• Implement positive behavioral support strategies
• Collect required data and complete daily documentation
• Work closely and collaboratively with family members and other professionals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field OR
• NADD Certification with relevant experience

Preferred:

• Experience supporting individuals with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Experience with positive behavioral supports and data collection
• CNA or comparable hands-on caregiving experience

Additional Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable working in a home with pets
• Able to assist with transfers and personal care
• Successful completion of required background checks
