We are launching a differentiated DTC platform for a leading brand in Q1 and are seeking an action-oriented DTC builder to create the growth engine, operating systems, team, and commercial discipline required to launch successfully and scale profitably.

\n

\n

Our office is in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. While in-office is preferred, remote will be considered.

About the Role

\n

You will build a complete funnel—from awareness and consideration through conversion and retention.

\n

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Own the DTC strategy, launch plan, operating plan, and P&L, including revenue, contribution margin, CAC, retention, LTV, and payback.
\n
• Co-lead an accelerated cross-functional launch plan with clear priorities, owners, milestones, risks, and decisions.
\n
• Build the launch-ready DTC stack: ecommerce experience, analytics and tracking, reporting, CRM, email, SMS, subscription or replenishment, customer-service workflows, and media infrastructure.
\n
• Create a diversified full-funnel growth model to include awareness, paid social, search, creator, affiliates, content, partnerships, CRM, and relevant emerging channels.
\n
• Build best-in-class lifecycle and retention systems across onboarding, email, SMS, replenishment, subscription, loyalty, education, cross-sell, win-back, referral, and service recovery.
\n
• Build the required team, agency ecosystem, technology roadmap, and high-velocity operating cadence.
\n
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, Customer Experience, Sales, and Brand to ensure the platform is launch-ready and scalable.

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• 8–12+ years building and scaling DTC, ecommerce, or consumer-growth businesses in CPG, pet, wellness, health, beauty, subscription, or a related category.
\n
• Proven record of launching a DTC business, major ecommerce initiative, or new growth engine under a compressed timeline.
\n
• Experience owning or materially influencing a DTC P&L and making decisions across acquisition, conversion, retention, margin, LTV, and growth investment.
\n
• Demonstrated experience building—not simply inheriting—teams, systems, lifecycle programs, reporting, technology, and operating processes.
\n
• Deep expertise in full-funnel growth, conversion optimization, CRM, subscription or replenishment, retention, cohort analysis, CAC payback, and customer economics.
\n
• Ability to build a diversified acquisition model rather than relying on a single lower-funnel paid-media platform.
\n
• Analytical, commercially rigorous, hands-on, and action-oriented; comfortable making sound decisions with incomplete information and resolving blockers quickly.
\n
• Shopify experience required. Pet-category experience is a plus but not required.

• Launch a high-quality DTC platform with clear performance reporting, functional growth stack, and a prioritized 90-day post-launch test plan.

• Establish a diversified full-funnel demand engine that reduces dependence on any single acquisition channel.
\n
• Build retention systems that improve second purchase, reorder rate, subscription performance, customer engagement, and LTV.
\n
• Create a scalable DTC operating model with clear economics, reliable data, accountable owners, and a team capable of supporting the next stage of profitable growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is not looking for a finished machine to manage. They are energized by building one. They translate ambitious goals into clear priorities, fast decisions, accountable execution, and scalable systems.

\n

\n

\n

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to managing Meta or other lower-funnel paid media—without ownership of lifecycle marketing, retention, customer economics, full-funnel demand generation, and DTC operating systems—are unlikely to be successful in this role.
