Job Summary:
The Critical Care Nursing position in Waco, Texas, involves working in a busy intensive care unit that manages a variety of complex medical, surgical, and cardiovascular conditions. The role requires adaptability and the ability to float between ICU and step-down units to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with shift duration of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, a minimum of three years of experience in an ICU or similar critical care setting, ability to float between ICU and step-down units, and experience with high-acuity patient care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac, respiratory, and vascular procedures such as TAVR, CABG, CVA, as well as proficiency in vent management, crisis intervention, and advanced cardiovascular support devices (IABP, Impella, CRRT).
• Additional Information: The unit handles patients with a wide range of complex conditions including respiratory distress, sepsis, post-surgical recovery, and cardiac emergencies such as STEMI and HF. The role offers opportunities to work in a multidisciplinary environment with advanced medical technologies and procedures.
