Litigation Systems Analyst

Overview CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency’s ongoing litigation efforts. Employment type is Full Time, Mid-level. Base pay range is $80,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. CGS is a government contractor that aims to solve dynamic government problems with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities May work directly with Government staff and/or under the direction of the Contract IT Manager, Systems Manager, Senior Systems Analyst, or Lead Project Manager. Define system and project requirements from information gathered from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff Design entire systems to meet defined requirements, including functional and design requirements, systems design, programming specifications, data elements, validation specifications, data capture and data conversion procedures Translate functional requirements into system designs suitable for development; test software using sample data Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations Develop systems documentation required in task orders Consult with Government staff and contractor staff to ensure understanding of objectives, identify problems, and suggest improvements Provide technical expertise, direction, and supervision to lower-level personnel; may act as a technical supervisor or team leader for a project Report progress to Government staff and superiors Provide user and technical documentation and training for systems developed Qualifications Substantial, hands-on experience in the systems being used (typically at least three years); for example, setting up interconnected Oracle databases in a UNIX environment, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, data maintenance, documentation, and user training Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into a coherent system design Broad knowledge of the Government IT environment, including office automation networks and PC/server based databases and applications Supervisory or team-leader experience is useful; excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in automated litigation support is helpful Assist CFPB with data extraction from media, data manipulation to CFPB standards, database loading, data intake, and review/ routing Experience with Relativity, ReadySuite (Compiled/KLDiscovery) and I-Pro eCapture is a plus Undergraduate degree strongly preferred (computer science or information management/technology preferred); Relativity Certified Administrator certification is a plus Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Life Insurance 401k Flexible Spending Account (Health, Dependent Care, and Commuter) Paid Time Off and holidays About CGS Contact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
