As our next Shop Helper, you will play a crucial role in keeping our Service Department running smoothly. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.What you'll do day-to-day (essential duties & responsibilities):Overall cleanliness of shop: Maintaining a consistently clean environment in the shop, ensuring it meets our high standards and reflects our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operation.Delivering parts: Facilitating the swift and efficient delivery of parts to shop technicians, directly contributing to our ability to honor commitments to timely service.Customer interaction: Interacting with customers in a manner that is diplomatic and courteous, fostering positive experiences that build loyalty and satisfaction.Supporting technician efficiency: Assisting in tasks that increase technician proficiency and efficiency, thereby enhancing the overall service experience for our customers.Engagement in learning modules: Actively participating in learning opportunities, showing a commitment to personal and professional development.Assisting other technicians: Learning through hands-on experience by helping other technicians, embodying our value of continuous growth and improvement.Driving trucks: Taking initiative to pull trucks into and out of the shop as directed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success in various capacities.Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support businessWhat we're looking for (qualifications & skills):High school diploma or GED preferredGeneral mechanical knowledge or aptitude requiredValid driver's license requiredCDL required, or ability to obtainAbility to drive a forkliftMindset: A curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.Physical and mental demands:The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand and walk; lift and carry up to 75 pounds; simple grasp, firm grasp and fine manipulation; work near moving mechanical equipment; use a variety of air tools and basic hand tools; use safety glasses, gloves, and shoes; talk or hear.What's in it for you?
