About the Position

Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. License: Active state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required. NIHSS preferred. Must-Have: Experience working with wound salvage program. Ability to float within skillset as needed. Availability to work every 3rd weekend. Description: The role is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse. The position requires working night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates must have experience in providing care to patients with various medical conditions. Experience in managing wounds, especially in patients with PVD, is essential. The nurse will be working with patients undergoing procedures to preserve extremities. This may involve administering medications, conducting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The daily patient census is approximately 30, with a variety of diagnoses. Special equipment includes wound vacs and IV pumps. Candidates must adhere to all facility policies including vaccination requirements. References are required to validate nursing experience. RTO must be included at the time of submission. No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Overall, the position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to patient care.
