- 3 per month (summer)

• Annual ER Volume: 90,000

• Physician in Practice: 1 (Hand coverage)

- 1 community provider (Plastics)

- 2 hospital employed (Ortho Hand)

• Procedures:

- Hand-related procedures, Traumatic hand reconstruction

- General plastic surgery procedures including Facial laceration repair, Scar revisions, Skin grafts, Flaps

- Minor burn care

• Duties/Responsibilities:

- In-person response when procedures are required

- Patient contact would include consults, procedures, or follow up visits when scheduled

- Supported through Trauma Clinic

• Other Info:

- Clinic responsibilities are only as needed

- No additional support staff. Trauma team will support in any way we can, including assisting with rounding

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active MI License or willing to obtain

• BC in Orthopedic, Plastic, or General Surgery

• BLS & ACLS (higly preferred)

• Self-Query NPDB Report (within the month)
