Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in oncology nursing and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to adult oncology patients.
• Strong involvement in triage and administering chemotherapy treatments.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oncology setting.
• Strong proficiency in triage and oncology nursing practices.
• Experience with the EPIC system is essential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Travelers with prior experience are welcome; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Local candidates may apply, with a consideration for rate adjustments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Regular shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No weekend shifts or call requirements.
• No floating to other units required.

Patient Care Focus

The nursing role will primarily involve caring for adult patients with diverse oncology diagnoses, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective treatment.

Unit Orientation

A comprehensive orientation program lasting 24 hours will be provided to ensure new hires are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
