Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room

Location

Flemingsburg, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other Saturday and Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Critical Access Emergency Room setting serving adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of 3–4:1 within a 7-bed Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a Level 4 Trauma facility
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and apply competencies in emergency clinical scenarios
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural emergency care environment
• Comfort working with a diverse patient population including adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with trauma-level emergency protocols
