Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

A clinic-based ABA role supporting children on the autism spectrum, up to age 6.

A clinic built for learning and play

Our 12,000-square-foot facility includes rock-climbing walls, swings, an arcade area, basketball, trampolines, water play, a library, and multiple playrooms. It also features an integrated classroom to help prepare clients for a school environment, along with well-equipped therapy rooms and session supplies.

RBT certification and onboarding

We provide training to help you pursue national RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. The 40-hour training modules must be completed within two weeks. Our team will assist you with the certification process.

After you pass the background check—which typically takes about one week—a supervisor can begin the competency assessment and attestation. Once your certification is complete, insurance credentialing may take up to two additional weeks.

Background check steps

· Complete the Child Abuse Registry form in person with our Onboarding Specialist and bring a valid driver’s license.

· Complete the company background check form and waiver.

Certification-related fees

Reimbursed by ABCS at the six-month review:

· Nevada ABA Board application: $70 (initial application only)

· ABCS company background check: $63 (one of two required checks)

Paid by the candidate:

· Nevada ABA Board background check: $63 (the second required check)

· BACB national certification application: $50

· BACB exam: $45
