Embark on a rewarding school-based assignment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting K-8 students across one or two campuses in a vibrant educational environment near Montgomery, TX. This contract role offers you the choice of full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with consideration for part-time availability, allowing for flexibility to fit your schedule.

Your primary focus will be delivering direct therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students. Youll collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and other educational professionals, helping students develop essential communication skills in an inclusive school environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP Assistant license required
• Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings beneficial
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to K-8 age range and diverse needs
• Motivated, dependable, and compassionate approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under SLP supervision
• Implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Travel between one or two school sites as assigned
• Participate in team meetings as needed
