A dynamic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position supports K-8 students through pull-out services, working with a caseload of approximately 23 students. You'll have the support of substitute educators for collaboration and coverage, allowing you to focus on delivering high quality, individualized instruction.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Endorsement (CI, ASD, or LD required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience specifically in Special Education
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and foster an inclusive learning environment
• Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting K-8 learners
• Please note: We cannot accept substitute licenses for this position

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and delivering individualized instruction in a pull-out setting for students across K–8
• Developing and implementing effective IEPs
• Collaborating closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Monitoring student progress, updating documentation, and modifying plans to ensure student success
• Communicating regularly with families and participating in IEP meetings
• Utilizing available substitute teacher support for seamless student learning
