CNC Mill Setup and Operator
This role focuses on setting up and operating Haas CNC vertical mills to produce complex, short- to medium-run parts with tight tolerances. You will work from blueprints and technical specifications, perform precision inspections, and collaborate closely with engineering, programming, and quality teams to ensure high-quality, efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Haas CNC mills for short- to medium-run production of complex components.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, set work offsets, and perform complete machine setups to meet production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
- Use Mastercam and G&M code to make program edits and optimize machining processes.
- Perform first article inspections and adjust programs, tooling, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Inspect finished and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on CNC mills to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Programming teams to resolve discrepancies and improve manufacturing processes.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating Haas CNC vertical mills.
- Proficiency with CNC setup and operation, including tooling selection, work offsets, and machine setup.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of G&M code and the ability to make program edits at the machine.
- Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software for program adjustments and optimization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $83000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
