Filler Machine Operator - Production Manufacturing

Looking for Experienced Production Machine Operators

We are seeking dependable manufacturing professionals with experience operating automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not a warehouse position. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of reliable attendance, strong job tenure, and experience running, monitoring, and troubleshooting production machinery.

In this role, you will operate automated filling and packaging equipment used in the production of dairy products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and food safety standards are met.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing, food production, packaging, bottling, or industrial environment
• Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and longevity in previous positions
• Experience monitoring production equipment and making machine adjustments
• Ability to identify mechanical issues and escalate equipment concerns
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to stand for long periods and work around automated equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automated filling, packaging, labeling, and production machinery
• Perform machine startups, changeovers, adjustments, and production checks
• Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the shift
• Troubleshoot minor operating issues and notify maintenance or supervision of equipment problems
• Verify labels, weights, seals, dates, and packaging specifications
• Remove defective products from the production line
• Complete production documentation and quality records
• Maintain food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards
• Support line efficiency and help meet production goals

Work Environment

This position is located in a refrigerated food manufacturing facility. Employees work around automated production equipment, conveyors, and filling systems while following strict food safety and quality standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.00/hr.
