General Manager We are looking for excellent General Manager candidates to join our management team. The primary role of the Wingstop General Manager is to work in tandem with the District Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store, provide exceptional customer service and proactively manage the front‑ and back‑of‑house team. The ideal candidate is focused on excellent customer service and operational results, has demonstrated restaurant leadership experience and has a passion for growing the business and developing their team. Qualifications / Education / Experience Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience. Food Handler Certification required. Can be obtained during onboarding training. Experience using a computer and register (POS) system. Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights and/or holidays. Spanish speaking a plus. Summary of Key Responsibilities Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes Wingstop’s culture, values and mission. Recruit, select, orient, train, assign and schedule team members in partnership with the District Manager. Work with the District Manager and Human Resources to manage performance, including coaching, counseling and disciplining team members with professional maturity. Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor and review performance, and enforce policies and procedures. Communicate in a timely and effective manner with the District Manager about operational and human‑resources issues. Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure the team and restaurant meet standards. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team. Track inventory and ensure accurate record‑keeping. Identify and resolve issues with food preparation. Help the team handle customer service issues with grace, courtesy and the goal of cultivating happy, returning customers. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation and safety procedures, reporting injuries, conducting meetings, maintaining equipment and complying with health and legal regulations. Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for new and different responsibilities, and exploring opportunities to add value. Meet restaurant operating policies and standards, including providing quality food products, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation. Maintain operational standards and requirements in the restaurant, identify and communicate maintenance problems to the Facilities Department, and ensure all facilities meet Wingstop’s company standards. Use company‑provided tools to coach, mentor and develop team members, leverage the support of the Restaurant Support Center, and ensure all risk‑management issues follow company standards. Apply strong business acumen and the ability to drive results through team collaboration to achieve store metrics. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Guest service mentality with a genuine desire to serve guests. Maintain a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations. Ongoing learner; exhibits curiosity and interest in self‑improvement. Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively. Cultivate an attractive culture within the restaurant. Handle numerous job duties essential to running a restaurant. Competence in key areas of responsibility including labor management, store operations, and guest relations. Proactive problem‑solver and decision‑maker. Thoroughly understand the importance of good hygiene and food‑handling practices. Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast‑paced environment.
