Fabrication Metal WelderSkillforce is currently hiring experienced Fabrication Metal Welders for immediate and upcoming projects in Orlando, FL. Pay is up to $29 an hour based on experience and skillset. This role involves structural and precision welding in a shop environment, working from blueprints and fabrication drawings to produce high-quality metal components.ScheduleMonday–Friday schedule10-hour shifts6:00 AM – 4:00 PMDuration- Long-TermOT Available: Saturday & Sunday; subject to changeKey ResponsibilitiesPerform fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick as required) on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbolsFit, align, and assemble metal components accuratelyInspect welds and finished products for quality and complianceOperate welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely such as shears, brake presses, ironworkers, and drill presses.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environmentFollow OSHA and company safety standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by Foreman or LeadRequired QualificationsPrevious experience in fabrication welding or structural weldingAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to lift materials and work on feet for extended periodsMust be able to pass drug screeningOSHA 10Preferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environmentExperience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processesMechanical aptitude and strong work ethicWork EnvironmentIndoor fabrication shop settingExposure to industrial equipment, noise, and metal fabrication processesSafety-focused environment with required PPEBenefits:Weekly payPaid time offReferral programMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k)
