Phlebotomist Lab Associate I (Inpatient) - Nights

Position Details Full-Time Lab Associate I – Phlebotomy (Inpatient) Location: Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis County, Missouri. Night Shift Hours: 12:00 AM – 10:00 AM Days: Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday Every 3rd weekend required 2 on call weekends per year required Holiday rotation (2 per year) Role Purpose Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and maintain specimen integrity. Coordinate simultaneous tasks accurately, including STAT orders and workload fluctuations, prioritizing work to meet turnaround times. Interact with lab, clinical, and ancillary departments. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. No experience required. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy experience (highly preferred). Experience in blood draw. Less than 2 years experience. Less than 2 years supervisor experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Phlebotomy certification.
