Job Description Job Description XTech is seeking to employ a full time Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our highly experienced technology development team. The acceptable candidate will be required to perform a variety of mechanical engineering and interrelated tasks during the development of a novel suite of industry breakthrough technologies. Responsibilities: Mechanical equipment design, analysis, modeling, and testing Developing third party vendor specifications and management Oversee manufacture various component parts Oversee/produce drawings for the manufacture of various components Review safety protocols Document design narratives & engineering analysis Produce Standard Operating Procedures for various processes Qualifications: An appropriate engineering degree Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience with 3D modeling software Previous experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering projects Familiarity with designing for manufacturability Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse projects Additional Beneficial Experience/Skills/Familiarity: Familiarity with manual and / or CNC processes and equipment. Familiarity with basic and / or advanced electricity or power electronics. Familiarity with basic and / or advanced chemistry. Familiarity with basic or advanced fluid dynamics.
