Finance Manager – Real Estate Capital Markets
RETS Associates is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Capital Markets team of a leading privately held commercial real estate developer. This is a high-exposure opportunity for a finance professional looking to sit at the intersection of development, capital markets, acquisitions and asset management, with significant opportunity for long-term growth and promotion from within.
The role will focus on debt and equity capitalization of development projects, underwriting, financial management and supporting the continued growth of a national development platform.
Responsibilities
- Support debt and equity capitalization for development projects.
- Prepare underwriting, financial analysis, investment committee materials and offering memoranda.
- Assist with portfolio management, project closings and ongoing financial management.
- Prepare investor and lender reporting, including draw packages and project-level financial analysis.
- Work directly with senior development and finance leadership across multiple markets.
- Support business development, expansion and broader strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, investments, development, capital markets or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related discipline; advanced degree a plus.
- Strong Excel, financial modeling, underwriting and real estate valuation skills.
- Transaction-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams, investors and lenders.
