Residential Home Inspector

Responsibilities: • Articulate inspection findings in a manner the client and real estate agent understand • Have basic computer skills in order to create a home inspection report and distribute to client within 24 hours of home inspection • Conduct themselves in a professional manner • Be punctual for appointments • Be dependable and have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from inspections • Willingness to learn and earn additional certifications for ancillary services • Abide by North Carolina standard of practice for home inspection Qualifications: • Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes • Has no problem with heights or confined spaces; able to evaluate roofs, crawl spaces, and attics • 1+ year of previous work experience conducting home inspections or working in construction field • Strong multitasking skills and organizational skills • Able to travel by car and possess a current U.S. driver’s license • Well-acquainted with basic computer programs and email applications • Must hold a NC Home Inspection License. Will be asked to gain a SC license within 6 months of hire Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 yearly
