Business Immigration Attorney

A global immigration law firm is seeking an Attorney to support its San Francisco team on a contract basis. This role supports a high-volume caseload of employment-based immigration matters, with a primary focus on Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) cases across a variety of classifications. Attorneys in this role will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and finalizing petitions and supporting documentation in a fast-paced environment while working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have broad hands-on NIV experience and a demonstrated ability to succeed within a high-volume business immigration practice.Candidates must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and available to report onsite in the San Francisco office two days per week.ResponsibilitiesReview, assess, and finalize non-immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, O-1, and related classifications Draft and edit petitions, support letters, and legal briefs as needed Conduct case assessments and advise internal stakeholders on immigration strategy and eligibility Review supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with immigration regulations Respond to RFEs and other government inquiries as needed Support a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced practice environment
