Warehouse Group Leader

Group LeaderWe are looking to add a Group Leader to our warehouse. The Group Leader assists in the development, training, evaluation, and work schedules. This role also provides support to the shift or department supervisor in achieving daily and monthly goals in safety, quality, accuracy and production. The Group Leader will be responsible for expediting work orders through the manufacturing process, accurate production reporting and maximizing resources while reducing scrap/rework. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong prioritization and organizational skills.ResponsibilitiesAssist warehouse manager and supervisor with leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping activities.Motivate warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.Work with warehouse manager and supervisor to monitor workflow, KPI's (key performance indicators) and staffing throughout the shift to ensure operational goals and deadlines are met.Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time while meeting customer and company standards.Partner with transportation, inventory control, customer service, and other departments to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and equipment standards.Conduct daily team huddles, communicate priorities, and provide real-time feedback and support to associates.Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse performance.Support training and onboarding of new team members while helping build a positive and accountable team culture.Assist with problem-solving and decision-making during operational challenges and high-volume periods.Support final mile load-out operations and ensure shipment readiness.Act on behalf of the supervisor during absence.Act as First Responder during Plant emergencies.Other duties as assigned.Desired ExperienceBasic computer skills – MS Word and MS ExcelBilingual (Spanish-English)Ability to interact in a positive manner with team members to achieve goalsSupport and promote Worthington's philosophyStrong leadership and organizational skillsBasic ability to troubleshooting production/personnel issuesMinimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing / production environment1st Aid/CPR Training and Emergency Response TrainingBasic Excel and Group Wise trainingContinuous Improvement trainingOn the job training to enhance safety, productivity, and troubleshooting skillsPay Range: $25-28/hrOur Company is proud to have a dynamic and inclusive workforce where employees are empowered to innovate, thrive and grow.
