FIREFIGHTER (PARAMEDIC)

Duties
You will respond to emergencies as a member of an Engine Company, Truck Company, Rescue Company, Hazardous Materials Team and/or a Rescue Team.
You will participate in daily training and instruction classes covering all phases of fire protection, fire prevention and emergency medical services.
You will act as the driver/operator of an emergency response pumper/ladder, brush fire fighting, ambulance, hazardous material response, or other rescue vehicle as required.
You will respond to all hazardous materials incidents as required.
You will perform daily preventative maintenance inspections of firefighting transport vehicles, tools, and medical equipment.
You will respond to all medical emergencies and provide advanced patient assessment and treatment for victims of fire, sudden illness, accident injuries, childbirth, and other events requiring medical intervention.
