Job Description: Please note: Effective October 1, 2025, the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services has transitioned to its new name—the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health. This change reflects our continued commitment to providing comprehensive, person-centered care that addresses the full range of behavioral health needs for Ohioans. All positions and services now fall under the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health as we move forward in serving individuals, families, and communities across the state.

What you'll do at DBH:

• Treatment Planning & Patient Support: Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Provide supportive care and assist with therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Documentation & Reporting: Complete charting, documentation, patient records, and required reports accurately and timely.
• Group Facilitation & Activities: Organize and facilitate therapeutic and recreational patient group activities.
• Transportation Assistance: Safely transport patients to scheduled off-site appointments and activities.
• Patient Care & Intervention: Participate in appropriate patient interventions to support safety, recovery, and overall well-being.

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of $22.60 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. 1st shift - 6:30am-3:00pm, 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift 10:45pm-6:45am. This position is located at our Summit Behavioral Healthcare location, located at 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237. Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above.
