Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN II)Provides nursing care under RN direction; performs assessments within scope, medication administration, documentation, and patient education.• Current LPN license (MS); effective communication skills.• CPR certification.• Collect, monitor, and report patient information.• Assist admission/discharge; provide teaching.• Administer medications safely; infection prevention.• Support staffing and teamwork; document accurately.• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.• Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.• Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
