Work Schedule- Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM (12-hour shifts); preferred schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off
- Weekend on-call duty — approximately 4 hours on-site, with a 6 AM arrival for rounding
- Weekday on-call hours from 4:30 PM to 6 AM; weekend on-call from 5 PM to 5 AM
- Manage 8 to 10 inpatients per shift; average of 8 to 10 patients seen during on-call
- A rounding nurse is available from 5 AM to 5 PM on weekends for initial calls
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) using the Hemapro 2 technique
- Assist in surgical cases and provide training to new Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on EVH
- Care for high-acuity patients in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and heart failure categories
