Paramedic/EMT

Paramedic

Responds to EMS calls and performs a variety of functions related to the care and treatment of patients suffering from urgent and emergent disease and/or injury states in accordance with appropriate rules, regulations, and protocols. Responsible for patient assessment and treatment in a pre-hospital setting. Assists with management of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening conditions. Operates ambulance and manages the transport of patients to medical facilities. Utilizes appropriate medical equipment and technologies in patient care. Participates in a clinical screening process to determine clinical fit. May be involved in patient care coordination and communication with other healthcare providers. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. A tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
